Part
A:
Make new dial-up connection
1.Double
Click on the "My Computer" Icon.

2.Double Click on "Control Panel"

Double Click on the "Network & Dial-Up Connections"

5.Double Click on the "Make Connection" Icon.
6. A screen will come up that says "Welcom to the Network
Connection Wizard"
Click on Next.

5.Click "Dial-up to the Internet"
6.Click once on "Next"

7. Click "I want to set up my Internet connection manually,
or I wan to connect through a local area network (LAN)."
8.Click
once on "Next"

9. Click "I connect through a phone line and a modem."
10.
Click
once on "Next"

11. Type the phone number to connect to the Internet.
12. Click
once on "Next"

13. Type the username
and password you chose to connect to the Internet.
14.Type a name for the dial-up connection: "Connection
to US-IT"
15.Click
once on "Finish."

Part B:
Complete setup of Dial-Up Connection
1.Double Click on the "My Computer" Icon.

2.Double Click on "Control Panel"

Double Click on the "Network & Dial-Up Connections"
Icon
4.
Drag the new "Connection to US-IT" Icon to your
desktop area so you may find it easier in the future. You
will get a message asking if you would like to create a ShortCut.
Select "Yes".
5.Close
all the open windows.
6.At this point you are done configuring your dialer.
Part C:
Getting Connected
1.
Double-Click the "Connection to US-IT" Icon on your
Desktop. The following box will pop up:

The username field should have the username you chose filled
in (all lowercase letters, no spaces).
3.
The password field should be filled in.
4.
Click the "Dial" button.
